About Wight Sole

Wight Sole is a group of walkers based on the Isle of Wight. The group is aimed at anyone who's keen on walking in a relaxed atmosphere. We try to arrange a walk every two weeks, generally on Sundays.

Our walks are generally between 5 and 10 miles, taken at a gentle pace and sometimes involve a visit to a pub (or two). Most walks are on the island, often in little visited places, so they are a great way to discover new areas.

Anyone is welcome, so if you want to try it out first, feel free to come along to any of the walks on our programme. Our insurance covers non-members for three 'taster' walks, after which we hope you will join the Ramblers. If you attend four or more walks as a non-member you are not covered by our insurance.

We're part of the Ramblers Association which is a registered charity.
